York City Dog Training Club would like to thank everyone who supported us with prizes and everyone who came along to make this event such a success.

We are pleased to say that the show raised £1000.00 on the day with a further donation of £500 from Lloyds Bank making a total of £1500 raised for Keep Your Pet

Welcome to the York City Dog Training Club

York City Dog Training Club is a happy and friendly Dog Club.

Our aim is to help owners and their dogs to enjoy learning together and developing a variety of skills. We promote positive, reward -based training, in a relaxed and happy environment, and teach owners the skills they need to train their dogs to become well behaved family pets.

In 1971 York City Dog Training Club became affiliated to the Kennel Club, we run Kennel Club Puppy Foundation Courses. These classes are aimed at providing owners and their puppies with the best possible start. For more information look at our Puppy page.

We also offer our own YCDTC Award Scheme with Levels 1 to 3 for adolescent and adult dogs. Please contact us regarding your dogs suitability for these classes.

Rosettes and Certificates are awarded for these Schemes upon successful completion of the courses.

All instructors are qualified Pet Professionals Level 3 VTQ First Aid
